My name is Kirthiga Ravindaran, and I welcome you to my blog website. I’m a Singapore-based South Indian writer whose love for the language started at an early age with avid reading – I started writing stories and narratives when I was fourteen. It took me a lot of contemplation before I decided that I wanted to own my very own blog website, where I have a part of me here – stories.
Being a Hindu, I was exposed to many colourful, robust tales of Hinduism and its web of intriguing tales by my father. He fed me with curiosity, interest and the power of knowledge – the primordial reason to why I decided that my niche would be all about mythology and fiction narratives on this blog website.
I’m thankful for having started this initiative where I am able to share more than stories and a little bit of me. I also currently own my very own small henna business, maruthondri, since October 2019 on this website as well.
There are a lot of story-tellers out there who may have found themselves stuck in an endless loop of writer’s block, not knowing their niche or simply not knowing a time to start. If you don’t start today, you will never know the rich goodness of tales in store for you, or the fulfilling process of tale telling itself.
I also believe that there is no one in this world who doesn’t love stories. If you know someone who tells you that they don’t like stories, tell them that they haven’t found the right one yet and therefore is, a likely tale.
